1. Yes, as daggers *2 new swords is enough, add the Lotus Daggers!*
2. Would be nice.
3. Wouldn't hurt.
4. Staff of Dwayna anyone?

I think the main reason why spamadan and high end do not have much of the second wave.... is because the second wave is even more of a letdown than the first...

/sorry

THE BONE DRAGON STAFF IS NOT THE SAME AS THE CONCEPT ART!
IT IS MISSING MOST OF THE DETAILS
*red eyes
*mouth with theets
*spine around the base of the staff

THE IN-GAME ONE IS UGLY AS HELL COMPARED TO ALL THE OTHER ONES!

I think A-net is trying to satisfy two vastly different artistic tastes in players. Some people like very intricate, realistic representations (like the new scythe). However, some people find that style almost too real to look good, and prefer simpler, more iconic style weapon (I believe those would be the same people who complain about plasticy-ness). While the staff does differ from the concept art, I kind of like the cleanness of the in-game design. My only desire for change would be to increase the size of the fleshy bit to give it some more color.

I can confirm that the Eaglecrest Axe drops from Ravens Point end chest in NM.
So far it seems only to be found from that location.

Not buying that. I believe most people would want it to look as close to the concept art (or better) if the design was kickass to begin with. Why would you like something that looked crappy? High end details sell, period. That's like saying I can run high end graphics on my PC but I prefer to see everything in low detail.... (visual not performance wise).

If there were supposed to be 8 DaW, not 7+dev, I can't think of the last item.
Wasn't the Clockwork Scythe one too?

It was a super-fun contest, and I hope that everyone enjoyed finding the items.

Now excuse my english, but "8 items along with an added item" makes 9 right?

I got to agree this batch is a bit disappointing

No flashy or glowy stuffs (sorry, thats just me )

Just a thought: Some of the drop location for items like Storm Daggers and Dragon Bone Staff don't seem to have much prove (or any at all), at least from here. The only thing is that it is stated on wiki. Probably someone there just saw someone mention on this thread (without prove) and update the notes, making everyone think its a confirmed location.

I think your thinking of the Hourglass Staff, which looks a lot like the clockwork scythe, minus the blade and add a hourglass, which was put in with Glacial Blade and the Darksteel Longbow with the preview event of EN. In total, there are 17 known DAW weapons, if you include the Obsidian Blade.
